The City of Hitchcock and the Hitchcock Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) are committed to attracting and retaining high-quality commercial and industrial development to strengthen and expand the local economy. HEDC evaluates incentive opportunities for eligible projects that align with community priorities, including the creation of targeted jobs, increased taxable sales, and the development of infrastructure and amenities that enhance the City. In addition, HEDC assists businesses by identifying applicable local, state, and federal incentives and financing options, and provides guidance throughout the application process.
